The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Hot Lines: Today's best MLB bets

Texas Rangers at Chicago White Sox (-125, 9)

The daunting Rangers’ offense has fallen into a slumber and losing slugger Nelson Cruz to the disabled list isn’t going to help.

Texas has dropped four straight games and scored an average of 2.25 runs per game during the losing streak – never eclipsing a three-run total. The Rangers are just 8-15 away from Arlington.

"We just haven't really clicked on all cylinders yet," second baseman Ian Kinsler said. "We're getting good pitching but we're not scoring runs. When we're scoring runs we're not pitching well. We just need to get both those things on the same page and I think we'll start rolling."

Up until June 28, Chicago will play all but six games this month at Cingular Field where the team has gotten off to an 11-13 start.

"You want to go home and play good," Ozzie Guillen said. "Now we have a stretch where we're going to go home for a while, and hopefully we take advantage of that, take pride in showing (the fans) where we are."

Look for Chicago to get back on track in the confines of their home ballpark behind southpaw Mark Buehrle who will make his first start since being ejected after two balks last week. Buehrle no-hit this same Rangers squad at home in 2007.

Pick: White Sox

Milwaukee Brewers at Florida Marlins (-155, 9)

The Marlins may have figured something out on Memorial Day.

After getting shutdown by Roy Halladay’s perfect outing Saturday and then clinging onto a 1-0 victory against the Phillies Sunday, Florida exploded for 13 runs against Milwaukee on Monday.

Cody Ross hit a three-run bomb and Cameron Maybin raced around the bags for an inside-the-park two-run homer during the Marlins’ seven-run sixth inning.

"For the first five innings, it looked like the same old team that's been playing the last few days. And then all of a sudden, we score seven," Ross said. "That's what makes our game so beautiful. You can be down and out, and the next thing you know, you feel like you're on top of the world and nobody can get you out.”

The Marlins have won two straight and need to get on a hot streak in order to keep up with the pace-setting Braves and Phillies atop the NL East.

Brewers starting pitcher Dave Bush (1-5, 5.05 ERA) gave up seven earned runs in 0.1 innings before his last start and has a career 6.65 ERA versus the Fish.

Pick: Marlins

Streaking and Slumping Pitchers

Streaking

Johnny Cueto (5-1, 3.25 ERA), Cincinnati Reds

The Reds righty has been simply magic during the club's recent hot streak. Cueto has won four straight starts and hasn’t tasted defeat since April 24. He’s allowed just three runs in his last four outings, most recently going six innings, allowing just three hits, in an 8-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Even more impressive is the fact that Cueto is missing his slider due to a blister on his right hand. He is expected to be back at full strength against the St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday.

Nick Blackburn (6-1, 4.28 ERA), Minnesota Twins

The Twins right-hander has won five starts in a row heading into Tuesday. Blackburn hasn’t lost since April 11 and is coming off a strong showing against the dangerous New York Yankees lineup, allowing just two runs through seven innings in an 8-2 victory last Thursday. Not only is Blackburn getting the job done but Minnesota’s lineup is backing him up, scoring 57 runs over his nine starts this season – the most for any pitcher in the majors.

Slumping

Brian Matusz (2-5, 5.76 ERA), Baltimore Orioles

Matusz’s last win came way back on April 18 against the Oakland A’s. Since then, the lefty has gone 0-5 in his last seven starts and is coming off a rough couple outings heading into Tuesday’s date with the Yankees. Matusz lasted just over two innings, giving up seven runs on May 20, then served up six runs in five innings against Oakland last Wednesday. He did, however, settle down in that outing and could be turning things around.

Wade LeBlanc (2-3, 3.71 ERA), San Diego Padres

LeBlanc’s command has been off and on since joining the Big League club in 2010. In his last start, the left-hander gave up four runs including two home runs on nine hits in just over five innings of work. The start before that, he was rocked for eight runs in just three innings, serving up two dingers. He hasn’t won since an eight-hit shutout on April 29 and had a 5.81 ERA in May, despite starting the month strong.

"I think more than anything it was the lack of not getting the ball in good spots," Padres manager Bud Black told MLB.com following LeBlanc’s latest outing. "Today I saw the ball elevated more than I have all year. There was not enough quality strikes down in the strike zone."

Lady Luck: Today's WNBA best bets

Phoenix Mercury at Minnesota Lynx (+4.5, 182.5)

The Lynx will bring a knife to a gun fight when they welcome the defending WNBA champs to the Target Center Tuesday night.

Minnesota’s offense is sputtering to start the season, averaging just over 75 points on 38.8 percent shooting per game. That’s quite a contrast to the Mercury who fire at 42 percent from the floor and rank first in the WNBA in scoring with 92.5 points per game.

The Lynx are coming off another disappointing showing, losing 73-58 to the Chicago Sky this weekend. They shot just over 32 percent from the field as well as made just 18 of their 32 free throws.

"We put ourselves in a position to win the game defensively, but it's hard to win games when you shoot 30 percent," guard Lindsay Whalen told reports. "Now, we are just going to keep working hard, staying in the gym getting extra shots and having confidence that the shots will fall."

Minnesota doesn’t have much time to make those adjustments before Tuesday. Basketball bettors can expect a dominating performance from Phoenix on the road.

Pick: Phoenix

Atlanta Dream at Seattle Storm (-3, 161)

Total bettors riding the Seattle offense hit a speed bump Sunday when the Storm played under for the first time this season, beating the San Antonio Silver Stars 84-56, but falling under the 150-point total.

Those same total backers should be able to climb back into the black Tuesday, when Seattle hosts the equally explosive Atlanta Dream. Atlanta ranks second in the WNBA in scoring, pouring in almost 87 points per night.

The Dream boast a 3-3 over/under mark but have topped the total in their last two games heading into Tuesday. They rolled the Los Angeles Sparks, 101-82, Sunday, playing over the 162-point number.

"Our defense got us easy transition points," Angel McCoughtry told the media following Sunday’s win. "That got us excited. Then we just scored at will."

Pick: Over 161

Hondo

Mister Fister and the Mariners last night provided an unwelcomed counterpoint to the Rockies' victory, so Hondo was left to tread water at 610 pappases below sea level.

Tonight, Mr. Aitch will take a wild stab in the dark with the Orioles against the Yanks' J.V. -- 10 units.

JR ODonnell | MLB Money Line Tue, 06/01/10 - 8:10 PM

dime bet 978 CWS (-125) Bodog vs 977 TEX
Analysis:
Chi White Sox = Jr's Knock Out Punch Tuesday!

LET'S BREAK THIS BABY DOWN

Texas is really struggling right now as the Chi Sox will tune them up tonight Tu~esday. The Chi Sox Strong Lefty Mark Buehrle has an 11-4 record and 3.02 ERA vs. the Texas Rangers. The Rangers are a terrible bet on the road as the Rangers CAN'T SCORE. The Texas Ace Rich Harden (2-1, 5.14) has a 9+ ERA the last 2 games. Texas is a full fade team right now. With N Cruz on the "D L" and the Rangers not scoring runs we will play on the Chi Sox tonight
